See What Nakia Almost Looked Like in "Black Panther" Concept Art by Anthony Francisco

Check out Black Panther (2018) concept art by Anthony Francisco!

In a recent interview with costume designer Ruth E. Carter, The Hollywood Reporter shared some concept designs of the costumes for two of the female warriors:  Okoye (Danai Gurira) and Nakia (Lupita Nyong'o) by Anthony Francisco.

Anthony Francisco is a professional concept artist who's worked on Hollywood movies like Thor Ragnarok (2017), Guardians of the Galaxy (2014), and Ant-Man.

Okoye and Nakia are part of an elite female fighting force of Wakanda known as the "Dora Milaje".
Comparing it to the final design you can see that who Okoye's design didn't change much, Nakia's signature disks are much smaller.
